EricIt's a flat textures pack, being used on a server that doesn't quite support the flat textures. This effect happens more with the Flat World Textures pack than with the Solid Textures pack, in my experience (but it can still happen with either). The Solid Textures pack also allows you to see through chicken wire/metal grate textures (2fort grate or old Snakewater), unlike the Flat World Textures pack, so I would recommend using Solid Textures over Flat World Textures.

If you were looking to improve fps with the textures, I doubt it would improve it (assuming this is a texture).
There are no problems with my fps, but these textures looks cool for me :D

Hello everyone. I wanna make low lod textures, but there are some problems:
1)ATI Tray tools can't run and shows me "can not initialize atipdlxx library exiting now" error
2)Radeon Pro can make max 3 lod textures, but i need 15, and Radeon Pro isn't started correct.
Win 7 64
So, if you know how to fix ATT error or other ways to make low lod 15, please, help me :)

Then start TF2, play a bit and then look at afterburner; it will show the gpu clock history in a nice graphcaemberi once had the problem that my graphics card would clock down to like 500MHz because usage with chris frames was only 20%. This made for a really stuttery experience.
You surely are cpu limited as well so install something like msi afterburner and monitor you gpu clock. If it's too low turn on some graphcis settings.
Also, core affinity. It might work

core affinity: start TF2, alt+tab, start task manager, right click hl2.exe, click set core affinity and play around with different values...

yaugbackup config. use default settings. see if problem persists. if not, get a new fresh config
I tried to install other fps configs, but it didn't help. Well, i'll intsall older drivers and reinstall my config.
Should i make defragmentation?
PokemonAdventureWhile TF2 is notorious for getting more and more demanding over time, an i5 should still be able to handle it easily. Reinstalling and changing configs are probably best bets.

Flavapufffooqphello everyone. i installed in spring chis's maxframes, and my game ran well with 200-250 fps and 1920x1080 resolution.
Suddenly, in autumn, my fps dropped from stability 200 to 130 with lags. I also installed 640x480 res, but it didn't help. what can be wrong? i didn't found any viruses and have 100 gb free in any disks. help me please :)

It's embarrassing to post this publicly, but maybe it'll help someone as fucking stupid as I am.
I was having issues with Tf2 stuttering with nearly constant regularity. I googled a description of my problems and started going down the list of potential solutions. (Running maxframes, turning off multi-core processing, validating TF2, etc.) One thing led to another and I'd eliminated all questions my problems being hardware related.
Earlier this week I just checked my Net_graph 3 output while I was in game and saw that I was getting severe and regular packet loss; I called my ISP, had them confirm it was a wiring issue, and had it fixed in two days.
Make sure it's not something simple before you start fucking with all of your hardware and TF2 settings.
Not sure about hardware, b'cause other games run well. Maybe reason in some servers or my internet too, but it's strange, because everything was well in summer and spring, and i changed nothing.
yaugIs it only tf2 you are getting frame drops? have you updated your video card drivers lately? have you tried defragging tf2?
Yes. TES SKyrim run well on medium and with small lags on high, for example.

i updated it. installed last BETA version. and it's strange: i played with older drivers in summer and my fps was higher
