#9 Huddictions... in TF2 General Discussion
Tomugeorgebaiiphobiacreate a hud that has all the elements you liked from the other huds. That would be good but ive used so many huds i dont even know what my preferences are :(
Look at your hud right now, what do you like about it? Is it centered hp + ammo? Is everything at the bottom? Does it have flashing strobe effect colours when you lose health. That sort of thing. Just keep what you like and keep making additions when you want new things.

What if every hud I'm used today has contained at least one of these things ;3
I used updated rad hud, black m0re hud and kn+noto hud edit today.
http://puu.sh/lrepV/ea61ea5b50.rar that's the updated rad hud if anyone is curious, it's the same hud that kaptain used in his latest frag vid here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hy3m2obev4M ....just updated lol
https://www.dropbox.com/s/0aelm52yqla3q4i/notokn%20EDIT.rar?dl=0 -and that's the noto+knhud edit

#13 Hud + senstitivy problem? in Q/A Help
Quikflyingbuddyflameit could be your brain is used to processing the distance your health and/or ammo move when you rotate, so things closer to the middle of your screen appear to move faster relative to thing that are on the outside of your screen.
But he states that it's only between m0re hud black and m0re hud edited, where the health and ammo are at the same positions on the screen.
Seems like a valid point though
but they are different size

Still though, as I mentioned before, the op said that he hasn't had this issue in the past with other huds which would obviously have different fonts and locations, he only has this problem with m0re hud black and m0re hud edited.
I'm 99% sure it's just placebo

#9 Hud + senstitivy problem? in Q/A Help
ccloudflyingbuddyccloudflyingbuddyCould be placeboQuertyeah if this is anything but placebo i'd be surprised.

gotta tell you though, this game is probably like the most placebo-dependent game there is. just a mild switch of config or hud can get you from those shitty plays to hitting airshots every second or so until this "effect" lays off. then you're back to being shitty again.

Mind explaining what the placebo is?

That because you changed huds, in your mind you feel that more is different than what actually is. In this case being sensitivity.
It is quite a common occurrence.
It's kinda like a newish player believing they will do better because they changed there sens to the same as a 'pro' players as an example

I see, but I have switched huds a lot of time and this is the first I have had this. Why would such an effect happen now, and not before? And thanks for the explanation.

Because only when you think about it, it feels that way.
If you didn't think about it before you wont notice it.

It is quite a common occurrence. I myself get this even though I change huds everyday, I know it's just placebo but I feel like I lag more on flame hud as an example and because tf2 is so reliant on your mind, I don't use it.

#6 Mousepad recommandation in Hardware

Artisan, Steelseries, Puretrak, Zowie and ADX are all reliable mousepad brands, just as an example.
Pick anything from those brands and you should be good

#10 net_graph in Q/A Help
mdvnet_graph "0"
net_graphpos "2"
bind "TAB" "+showscores"
bind "TAB" "+showgraph"
alias "+showgraph" "+showscores;net_graph 1"
alias "-showgraph" "-showscores;net_graph 0"

if you press tab, gonna show scores + netgraph. lot of people with shit machines used to use it like this, cause net graph means a few minus fps. if you are just interested about your fps, i recommend cl_showfps 1 or 2 (2 shows inputlag as well), or use the steam overlay counter.

He said he doesn't want it with the scoreboard

#4 Safe to use textures? in Customization
bruntolina02# Comanglia, Is it 100% sure it will never cause a VAC ban? If I only use the mod I linked.
Have anybody analyzed the .vpk of this mod to see that its 100% legit aswell?

It is legit, a lot of people use it, although most people just use clean tf2s FLAT vpk for flat textures found here: http://www.teamfortress.tv/21756/prism-hud-clean-tf2
