I am using the stock HUD and I'm not getting EXP neither. The problem is the one mentioned above: Game Coordinator not working.

Oh my God, thanks you man, really, thanks! I played TF2 almost 9 years and since hats have been added I always wanted to remove all of them... (For FPS boost and because mercenaries are already super sexy by stock). THANK YOU!
P.s.: Even better with the Unusual effects removal
