#4 What Router and or Modem do you use? in TF2 General Discussion

Motorola MG7315, combined router + modem. I'm the only one using it in a 1BR apartment, so it's been perfect.

#3 is it true in LAN Discussion

"We were just hanging out. By this point we're all pretty drunk. She said she's getting more drinks for us, so we give her money. I turn around and talk to someone for like a minute, and when I turn around I don't see her at the bar. I looked around and saw banny trying to pick her up. I was like immediately freaking out but I was too far away to get there in time and too flustered to scream anything. He tumbled backwards with her into a stone base of a pole. She scraped her head. I took her to the bench and used my hoodie/a paper towel to stop the blood. The paramedics came and finished the rest of the work. I was pretty stressed out that night, not a happy camper. Felt really bad for her and for Kaidus. But she's perfectly fine thankfully. She's lucky and really tough."

#6 Resupply Bind for different loadouts in TF2 General Discussion

I'm not aware of being able to bind different loadouts to the SAME key like you're looking for. I mean, you could cycle the loadouts, but that wouldn't help you be consistent in keeping the same loadout and keeping the ubercharge.

I know you don't like the idea of binding loadouts to the arrow keys, but if you train yourself/get used to it, it can be extremely useful. You can keep "w"-ing into spawn, and hit the arrow key (without needing the mouse) as soon as you're over the threshold///spam it. I've almost never had issues of dying in spawn by doing it this way.

It also makes it very easy to remember which loadout is on which key - I keep my medigun loadout on the up arrow since it's the easiest to hit, and I know that my right arrow is for kritz loadout. If I'm on kritz, and want to keep kritz ubercharge, I know to hit right arrow.

//Arrow key binds
bind uparrow "load_itempreset 0"
bind leftarrow "load_itempreset 1"
bind downarrow "load_itempreset 2"
bind rightarrow "load_itempreset 3"

Or just use shift for your itempreset 0, and the rest to arrow keys. You should be using uber 99% of the time anyway.

Keep it simple. Good luck.

#27 What hobbies do you have in Off Topic

I go through phases of what I like to do in my free time. Random things from my past include:

  • Graphic novels - research, purchase interesting ones, reading, support local comic shops
  • Podcasts - crime history ones are what I spent a lot of time listening to, but also random taboo sexual topics that are interesting
  • Classes/learning for fun - I took a comp sci class (I'm already done all my schooling, it was just for fun) to get a small foundation to learn coding and built my PC last year
  • Learning how to cook - really cook delicious things. I try to have a paleo focus (protein + fat), but also try to learn how to combine different foods to make fantastic dishes without a recipe. This is great.
  • Plan future vacations/trips - weekend trips near where you live to far away trips. Planning them can help make them more feasible.

Overall, especially when I was younger, I tried to do things on the side that would help make me a more well-rounded adult that were also interesting - it really could be anything you can research and get into. Beer/wine, South American history, graphic design, musical composition... pick something you find potentially interesting, or you're just completely ignorant of, and do the research. Eventually, you'll end up with some new hobbies or just learning a bunch of new shit in general.
