Bad news: My computer is still potato.

Good news: We have a new map this week! I am still waiting patiently for map makers to update their maps from the new map cup feedback but since we have gone 2 weeks without a new map week, we will just play more bagel.

Week 6 Maps are:
Bagel, Cardinal, Kalinka, Logjam, Avalanche

Eu and Na servers are now active with the new rotation.

There are two problems going on atm. One is the eu servers and one is something went wrong in the back end. I tried fixing it but have to go to a meeting right now. I will be home from work around 6pm est. Until them mixchamp apparently works?

Week 5 has 5 maps!

This weeks maps are koth_bagel_rc2, cp_cardinal_b2, cp_logjam_rc4, cp_kalinka_b3 and pl_tapline_b1.

We are going to have to go on a hunt for possible comp maps on tf2maps and see if we can find a new new map to bring on one of these weeks.

Hi all,

Due to me not getting to a computer until tomorrow, MapChamp Week 4 may be delayed to tomorrow afternoon (sorry euros) or to next week.

There will be the odd week that I am away and this is one of them. Since the new map cup is happening I also figure that most people have had their fill of new maps.

This will also give time to the map makers to make some changes and we can test them out next week.

Montreal is a super fun city. It is basically the most European like city in Canada. There is lots to do and lots of really cool places to go out (pubs, microbrewery etc). As for the uni it is one of the best in Canada. I can't speak about the student life there but the city itself is great.

Location wise you are an hour from Ottawa, 3 hours to Kingston, 3 hours to quebec city, 5 to 6 hours to Toronto, and 10 to 12 hours to the east coast. It's a good location if you want to travel this part of Canada.

What are you studying?

I find that this map is very large and it takes a long time to rotate or push after getting some sort of advantage. Not sure if it is possible, but it might be worth trying to close up some of the space between second and mid. There seems to be a lot of ways you can push from mid into second and vice versa and it is almost too flanky.

The lobby into last is pretty big as well. It would be interesting to see if it could be compressed a bit so there isn't all this room between last and second.
