I miss being able to look forward to 6s scrims
Now they just make me feel anxious
the REAL fuckin question is why the default zoom ratio isn't 1:1 on 16:9 monitors
It was actually glenns twin brother finn whos been following the group since atlanta but was too shy to introduce himself. Glenn was conveniently hiding behind shitty writing
I didn't even notice 30fps until you mentioned it. idk the enemies/projectiles move so slowly that it feels unimportant but higher would be nice
you'll notice that any weapon that is OP but makes the game more fun is allowed IE
escape plan, boston basher, ubersaw
Gemmellnesspayload is red-sided because the defending team can use classes like heavy and engi
i'm actually in the process of making a video nerdessay discussing this heh
A/D makes playing Red easier than blu, even if Red usually loses. The classes you play on Red are really low effort and take very little skill to play. It takes way more effort to destroy a sentry nest than it does to build
tbh even if hellbent is/was an ass I can sympathize with vand making him quit cause seeing other people get mad at tf2 all the time made me realize how much of a dick I was being when I was getting mad at tf2. I realize I have a hard time not being that person and trying to play w/ other people when I couldn't take the game seriously w/o being a dick is pretty unfair to my teammates who want to improve
Has your life improved since you quit?
I find the less I play tf2 the more time I spend on other hobbies that are probably just as pointless. Reading wikipedia articles about biology or lifting weights is no more or less fulfilling than TF2. The game never interfered with my school work and my social life was always shit because i'm ---------
Do you get bored
I got a job that tends to eat up most of the time I used to spend playing TF2 and I get home around 8 or 9 most days then go to bed. I like my job and I like what I do when I'm not playing tf2. The only time I play TF2 is when I'm bored, but I don't think quitting tf2 has made my life more boring. TF2 was always a symptom of having nothing to do, not a cause
Did you have some other
Sort of. The gym isn't something you can do for 20+ hours a week like tf2 obviously. But I think I stopped playing tf2 seriously because I enjoyed other things more than tf2 even if I wouldn't call them hobbies
What was the main reason that you decided to quit TF2
most people in the community don't like me and trying to repair my reputation to play more tf2 didnt seem worthwhile. I enjoy playing tf2 casually or semi-casually on a low effort team, but putting in 20+ hours a week of serious practice didn't provide me with the enjoyment that it did when I was 17 and could mge for 8 hours straight
why do you browse a forum for a game you no longer play
i love shitposting
