ShdSteelYou can definitely find say a benchmade 62 for about 200-250$. Depending on condition. I can hook you up if interested. It's a live blade.

Haha maybe I'll hit you up after I save up a bit more money. I know one things for certain and that's don't buy balisongs that cost less than $100 or a quality used one for atleast $70 when you already know the basics of knife flipping.

z4chHey strangely enough I was just thinking about getting a butterfly knife.

Looking for a cheap trainer. Any suggestions?

Like shdsteel said, never go ebay since you'll only be wasting your money. I would suggest the same bear and son knife I bought to learn how to flip (bear and son 114b), because honestly it's a good knife to start out with since it's heavy and the blade isn't too short, but if you flip that particular knife a lot it will not last long. Buying a quality trainer that costs in the hundreds if also a really good idea because most of them will never die on you, if any at all. You may just want to buy a $30-40 dollar knife and see how it goes. If you enjoy the balisong life then you can always get a quality one later like what I'm planning to do.

MonkeySuitI had one of those bear and son's knives and it broke 3x before I gave up getting them to fix it. I found a decent one on bladehq afterwords ( bradley kimura) and it's been great.

I wish you could still buy bradley kimura knives because I love their design and everyone says they're very, very reliable for the price they come in. Unfortunately looks like you can only buy them off of forums, and I don't want to buy a used balisong so I'll pass for now. Next balisong I buy will probably be a benchmade 62, 63, or 67 but that won't be for awhile.

ShdSteelUnfortunately yeah a lot of it does cost a lot. The benchmade balisong collection is great and the 62T which is a dedicated trainer works quite well and is sub 200$.

I'm not interested in trainers, it's gotta be a real blade or nothing when it comes to balisongs for me. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Knives are definitely a hobby I could get into once I get a real job because good knives cost a lot. I use to flip a bear & sons 114B almost every day and got cut up a lot after I took my training wheels off (painters tape). But with repeated use of the knife, handles would just literally break and this has happened two times so don't buy a cheap balisong knives because they'll break after 2-3 months. The good ones cost $200+ usually and that's a lot of money so I'm not going to buy a new one for now. I also really like switchblades and kris blades from a collection point of view, but again doing that costs money so it's something I'd only do once I start working a real job.

#21 rain lft s22 scout in Recruitment (looking for team)

Good dm with both scout & sniper, but he's kind of a bot though. I think he'll go really far if he joins a team that can keep him in check and teach him to play smart so he can use his dm more consistantly.

_vittoRazer's deathadder 2013 is a dope mouse, highly suggest it

I second the recommendation of a 2012-2013 deathadder if you can find one. I've had my deathadder since mid 2012 and it's still going strong. The only mouse I'd replace it with is a zowie EC1-A since it weighs much less, and has the two side buttons the deathadder has (I use the buttons for mumble/in-game push to talk, so having a mouse with those kinds of buttons could go a long way).

#1 roamer lft high open in Recruitment (looking for team)

Hello I want to backup for any open and I guess IM (if you're desperate) teams that want a backup. I can play scout at a mid open level and roamer at a high open level, I'm not going to play any other classes besides those two. Also if you want me to play in a match you'll have to pay all of my fees because I'd rather spend the money on gas rather than for 1-2 esea matches. Only days I can't play for the time being are Saturdays and Sundays.

exp:

Show Content
ESEA s14 Fashion Police - main roamer (4-4 before team died)
ESEA s15 LARGE gamers - backup soldier/scout (10-6, played 2 matches)
ESEA s16 Absolutely massive - main demo (9-7, 2-2 playoffs)
ESEA s21 Charismatic Confusion - backup soldier/scout/demo, turned main roamer after mid-season (8-8)
ESEA s22 Hurricane Watch - main roamer (11-5, 1-1 playoffs)

#30 Viper LFT High Open - Low IM S22 in Recruitment (looking for team)

Alright for real though I've played against Viper when he played pocket for 1 scrim and I could tell he's not ready for IM. Maybe for a bottom IM team that will die mid season or something but not anything above that. He's definitely fine for a high open team though. And Viper I'm not trying to troll you and genuinely think you should play another season of open and then try making a thread looking for an IM team if that's what you wanna do (unless of course the team you join stays together and makes IM).

#53 Valve adds streams list to main menu in News

Although I won't play matchmaking until its released with class limits and so I can use my config, I am very glad valve took notice of tf2 and is doing everything they can to help it out. If someone from valve is reading my post, thank you.
