Gonna be live tonight at 9pm est with a bo3 match against Hellraisins to start off the RD2L Masters Playoffs. We ended the group stage as the 9th place seed, placing up against HR in the first round of this double elimination bracket. Lots of hype teams in the bracket... Hellraisins have been on the rise lately so we'll see how the Burnsiders fare in this re-match of the AD2L Upper Bracket Finals under the new patch.

Additionally, tomorrow we begin our DPC qualifying run. There will be one day tournaments tmrw and Wednesday to determine who gets into the Closed Qualifiers, which will run from the 7th-10th. If we don't access the Closed Qualifiers, there are two more tournaments on the 9th and 10th to potentially enter the 2nd Division of the regional leagues. I'll be streaming tomorrow's run but will mostly be unable to broadcast matches on the following days.

Burnsiders DotA squad has 2 RD2L matches this week, I'm hoping someone else will cover them but that means I don't. Tues 9pm Est vs "SeattleSupersonics" and Thurs 9pm Est vs Odd Otters. We have our AD2L Grand Finals coming up sometime, rest of the bracket has to be played out first though. Should be a new DotA patch soon, we were sorta hoping to get this wrapped up before then, but oh well thus is DotA.

A diff dota person mentioned to me on air they'd be down to play some competitive newbie miXes. Would def be a really fun event, I imagine Slacks would be down if it can be timed up.

Slacks is a DotA god, maybe not the best caster, but an absolute legend for his personality, memes, and content. Arkosh is amazing stuff. Thanks for enjoying the casting, I'd love to get more work in the DotA scene.

eXcellent teammate. Has been on that grind and was definitely putting in work to raise up others for a while. Aim and gamesense has been steadily improving. Listens to feedback and I think his stats would eXplode with the right team.

I've played with Rusty on Eleven Gaming and the Portland Burnsiders. He's been grinding hard and definitely focused on growing as a competitive TF2 player for quite a while. He might chat your ear off about arm wrestling, but he's also engaged in other hobbies outside of TF2 that would provide him with good "crosstraining".

His demo pounds, his aggression was sometimes de-synced with the Burnsiders, but yknaow, we were having a lot of difficulties so I think if he's played with more he can pound hard. Scout does sort of fit his personality a bit more though, so we switched him to pocket scout for our last week and it was going well. Is definitely otw up.
