glassOmbrackAre you implying that the more money you spend, the more deserving you are ? I'm pretty sure you're not, but I feel I'm missing the point here
he's saying there's a smaller list of people who are willing to cast/produce tf2 *no matter what*, as opposed to the larger group who have helped out by casting and running tftv and so on. the core guys you can expect to be at every single lan, or who make huge sacrifices to be at toth. someone above said "just casting isn't necessarily a game-changing thing worthy of a community weapon" which is probably fair, and dreamboat pointed out that some people go above and beyond that, so they should still receive consideration. the money aspect is incidental, in my opinion.
That was the stance I very poorly attempted to take.

Stinson_Outyou shouldn't get a community weapon only because you shouted over 12 people playing videogames at a LAN once.
I both agree and disagree on this one. I think some of the people that went above and beyond to cast at the lans in terms of rodiculous travel or a large number of lans should be considered. IE. Gecks flying to I55 from NA, Getawhale to i58, Bren/Kaidus to Rewind from EU. The ones who took a sizeable financial hit solely to provide enjoyment to the community. That or number of lans done should be considered, like Getawhale has 4 I think? 2 iseries, Rewind and GXL.
