#27 Types of aim- how do you aim? in TF2 General Discussion

Man, I love the concept of aim so much I could probably write an essay on it. There are so many kinds and forms of aim that it really boggles my mind, in the end though, nothing will be as impressive to me as tracking in its purest form. So many factors add towards aim; posture, mood, arm/wrist, mouse grip, your grip, even latency (I find anyway). I've been working on "improving my aim" for years now, every time launching tf2 with the hope of achieving the perfect tracking. Only recently have I started seeing results I'm happy with, but even then I could be better.

There is no "right" kind of aim, it all works differently for different people. Some people are amazing with twitch, tracking, and the weird-as-fuck "wobble aim" (can't find the video right now sorry mates). Whatever suits you and you find comfortable will eventually work. HOWEVER, I find sensitivity to be a non-factor. I wouldn't even say you have to keep the same sensitivity for a long period of time to have great aim. Over the past few months I've gone through roughly 5-6 different sensitivities, testing them all out, and each time it took less than an hour for me to notice my aim has gotten on-par, or better than, how my aim was before changing sensitivities. I don't really know why this is, so if someone can enlighten me, I'm all ears (eyes).

testifyFogDaggerhttp://play.esea.net/teams/77569

Main/invite team?
hopefully get bumped from open.
They're planning to play in Open

That's pretty lame for newer teams they should get bumped to IM imo.

cant get bumped to IM ebrbrbrbrbrbrbr

From what I understand, there are only 2 divisions you can go straight into with a new roster; Open and Invite.
to play in Intermediate, you HAVE to have played a full season of open and made playoffs.
to play in Main, you have to have either played a full season of IM and made playoffs or played in Invite and get moved down to Main.

PoeticJusticeSo we all know or have heard of this team, but the name itself I always thought interesting. I came across a wiki page randomly here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flow_(psychology) , and I found out that "Flow" is like a state of total immersion and involvement. It was pioneered by Mih
