Just trying out the HUD because I love the screenshots, so thanks for sharing. Quick question though, in Options, the font colour is the same as the background so you can't see binds until you scroll through them and they are highlighted, how can I change that? I'd just like to change the colour to white or something that sticks out from the grey

I had to do this too because I was using a lower resolution monitor (1366x768), basically open up resource/ui/scoreboard in your custom folder and under the "Scores" heading at the top change "name_width" to 90 (I think it's set to 95 by default? Can't remember), save and you're good to go

So i'm using bwHUD (which I actually love) but i've ran across a small problem, which im not sure is HUD related or not. Basically I can't backspace/delete or use the arrow keys to move the cursor in the chat. I can type words, but if I want to do anything else or spell something wrong then I need to close the dialog box and start again :/ Quite tedious really

EDIT: Just removed the HUD from my custom folder and used the vanilla TF2 HUD and backspace and the cursor both work, so it has to be something bwHUD related (I think)

Ignore all that. Fixed it by updating to 2.1.6, didn't realise there was a new version

Sorry to bump an old bump, but i've just downloaded this map and I'm getting this exact problem, I can jump for about a minute and then it just crashes to desktop. Any ideas?

There is some info in the console, i'll try and get a copy when i'm next in-game... I'm just verifying the game cache

I have just ran the TF2 benchmark demo twice, both times using -dxlevel 91:

First test:
Good Connection settings
Enable sprays
Enable shadows
Enable facial features
Enable ragdolls
Enable gibs

2639 frames 49.623 seconds 53.18 fps (18.80 ms/f) 2.480 fps variability

Second test:
Good Connection settings
Disable sprays
Disable shadows
Disable facial features
Disable ragdolls
Disable gibs

2639 frames 39.655 seconds 66.55 fps (15.03 ms/f) 2.905 fps variability

Not bad considering I play on a toaster than has a mouse/keyboard attached to it.

Even with everything enabled I seem to be getting a good 9fps more than I was previous (though I was using -dxlevel 90, is that something to do with it?). So again, thanks for sharing :)

EDIT: I just want to mention, for fun I just ran the above 2 tests but using -dxlevel 80... First test scored 65fps and the second test 75.26fps O_O

I'm using Windows 7, x64 if that helps. I'm new to using graphics configs so I'm not too sure what you mean by 'uncommented that the commands controls' but things like cl_showfps and fps_max xx aren't saving... I can't tell about the network configs because they are all 'under the hood' but yeah. I'm sure there is an easy fix/I'm doing something wrong

I'm also getting this, after every restart it's not saving my setup and I have to keep redoing it

Are you using a custom ROM?
I'm running OmniROM on my S3 and i've found that my device restarts itself, especially when ads play at the beginning of joining a stream. I think it has something to do with the HWComposer *shrug*

This isn't really a question about the HUD, but more-so about the installer (which is seriously awesome btw), It has probably been asked/answered before but im trying to look at the HUD crosshairs but none of them appear in the preview, so I have no idea what they look like.

Is that a common problem or am I doing something wrong?

P.s. I love your HUD Rays <3
