rlinezi'll have to stop by to watch finals if it's in rhode island. :>
i imagine it would probably be in providence or newport county or something. i live like 20 minutes away. both are pretty nice cities. newport has a lot of famous gilded age mansions and is basically the sailing capital of the world (america's cup world series hosted there). it's also host to the newport jazz festival (coltrane, davis, brubeck etc have performed there) and folk festival. moonrise kingdom was filmed in newport/jamestown/prudence island.
providence hosts the waterfire festival in the summer. thayer street is right next to brown university and has some pretty good restaurants/bars and other hipster shit.
i'm not quite sure why i felt compelled to defend the state i'm from on an internet gaming forum but who cares right!!!
be sure to check out the standard ri shit: coffee milk, clam cakes, pizza strips (bakery pizza w/ no cheese), steamed clams, ri clam chowder, chourico/linguica
this makes me wanna go just for the hell of it, sounds a hellova lot better than dallas thats for sure
