if you que solo you don't get matched against 3 stacks, proven by devs and multiple streamers who tested the game prior to release. This is why you see a ton of streamers play solos and do extremely well.
solo squadding is just an opportunity for more frags :)
tried to have a full vanilla server with tf2 friends a while back, turned out the main issue was people burning out after a couple weeks and i was the only one left on the server like a month later :/

TimTumIt's not the responsibility of LR to check if everyone on Surstromming's roster is allowed to play. They even warned them as far as I can see while they could've said nothing at all. Surstromming should've checked with the admins, but instead they responded with 'unlucky, he can', 'we can play with him :)' and 'unlucky :))'
If LR had any doubt that he was able to play they should have double checked it. It seems like Surstromming genuinely thought he could play, so if no team bothers to check or bring it up to the admins. If they were aware beforehand as they seem to be, they should not have readied up and instead should have contacted an admin to confirm that.
Although I haven't played all the maps in this map pool in map test pugs and other stuff, the ones I have played are a strong A+. Definitely gonna be a fun tourney!

tf2 is one of the few comp games where if i die, i always feel like i deserved to.
all are good to do occassionally, but scout v soldier is probably the best (as long as you dont play mega passive)

sigafoocatman1900the league is cool and all but for the map list, I know they're aiming for ingame maps but stock viaduct is disgusting.
I don't disagree, I'm very much on the edge about the original viaduct. The thing that I think is good about stock viaduct is that connector is filled in actually helps allow flex classes to see more play and be more viable. Whereas in Product, the soldier completely dominates that area.
I was planning on reaching out to a map maker to see if we could take Product, but make connector closer to the original. So then the version we could use is basically koth_viaduct, except for being symmetrical and other fixes that the map makers have put in over the years.
bats are also quite stupid on stock viaduct.
