the most important thing for a teams success is that every player wants the same thing out of the season, whether its having fun or winning or improving, having everyone on the same page can make any team way more enjoyable

in a situation where every team plays every other team there is no reason to not use win/loss
if next season that isnt the case, then maybe point would make more sense

they dont actually have "elo" at one point 2 or 3 of the admins made a chart of every player, then rated them on a scale from 1-10, even though those admins had no fucking clue how good many of the players were, and randomly rated players they had literally never heard of before. Also, one of the admins (he will not be named cuz thatd be mean) rated himself as a 9 (like low invite) while he was doing averagely on a mid adv team, then rated proven invite players lower than that. Maybe there's some other elo system im not aware of, but i dont think any of the admins actually look at the elo ratings for anything since they were decided so arbitrarily.
