pintoThe last jump is terribly optimized or something, game is running at 130 fps but it feels like 15. net_graph has a bunch of red on it (wish I knew what that meant)

I pretty much ported the whole of badlands in for the last jump because it is so big. I did the best I could in terms of optimizing. Im surprised its only the last jump that causes lag, cuz the map couldnt get any bigger; in hammer it was maxing out pretty much all values!

ultiduo_badlands_b1

Arena version of badlands converted into an ultiduo gametype. Doors and windows from house lock themselves behind you after exiting. When you have control of the point you cannot exit mid. The team attacking the point can back up through corner or valley. Skybox height has been increased significantly to avoid players hitting the skybox after being airshot. Various props and ledges that could be exploited have been clipped off and fixed. Ammo packs are located at the center of the point and directly underneath the point.

Starklooks much more promising than I expected
I agree with forsaken that the spawns should be on the high ground as well
also, I know it's petty, but can you fix the "Defend you're medic" thing in the ultiduo_gullywash.txt?

Added another exit from spawn and deleted the txt file.
Detailed the spawn rooms and added the blockers so the enemy team cant enter the spawn.

Just thought of this after reading a thread about ultiduo maps. The cap point is under the nipple giving the attacking team more of an advantage then if it was around the nipple. I improved all the walls around mid so you shouldn't get dodgey rocket splashs and shouldn't be able to stand on any raised platform sticking out of the walls. The two angled roofs push you down so you cannot surf on them and be a jew. There is an alternate route to getting above the point by jumping on the tyres then onto the pipe. This map needs to be play tested so I know what changes need to be made.

Should the drop-downs be added?

Laanis there anything after the badlands spire jump? cause i cap the point and the game finished and I cant get back to my original starting point :')

sorry, just did it again and there's nothing after it

in upper lobby there are 2 signs saying bonus jumps, goto the door and it will tell you how many secret hats u need to find in order to open the door. The hats are hidden inbetween jumps throughout the map, destroy all 6 then u can do the bonuses. or you could just noclip into the locked door lol

if u find and destroy all 6 of them the bonus jumps will unlock (no bonus jumps yet).

nTraumneeds more stages. also fuck the granary drop down jump jesus christ

Working on a few more jumps atm. As for the granary drop-down jump im gonna make them slightly bigger each one down making it a bit easier.

Dont put up on servers yet, need to change lots of settings on the map. Wait till final release.

Im on uni break so Im going to start working on it again and there are no bonus jumps yet.
