welp i wasnt planning on traveling there anyways but this really hits the mark on how the community as a whole is. i hate these kinds of things where one small thing from one small person can legitimately destroy everything and ruin the entire scene for an entire continent. id like to state that i had my own dream of running a LAN but i know that'll never happen due to who i am in general and i agree with the people who genuinely hate me. and now since this lan is canceled, i havent lost all hope yet for north america, but im about to. this game means so much to me but it can be ruined by pathetic shitcocks just messing around in their respective fields turning something everyone is excited for into bullshit.
therefore, if anything like this such as a tf2 lan being canceled, or an important league gets destroyed within north america, the hope that i have for this game and probably many, MANY other games will be crushed by the distraught feeling of catastrophe.

i get pissed and distraught over lans for two reasons, one there are no lans of any game close to me where i live, and two, tf2 lans have prize pools that are a maximum of $5k, and i have never seen a tf2 lan with a $10k prize pool yet. we need that kind of lan to happen. i know i cant do shit about it.
