Only 3 teams will win a division this season and there's like 75+ teams in ESEA, and I promise you low open teams get rolled just as hard by high open teams as they do by high invite teams.

I mean it's not like the IM stacks are going to be super tryhard against open teams they're gunna be offclassing.
Also if more open teams actually signed up then you would play eachother in the early stages. So many people cry about the lack of support for TF2 and then when something like this shows up they're nowhere to be found

How important is good fps?

FUNKeI think consistent 30 is extremely important (for any serious competitive). 60 is ideal. 120+ is luxury, but too negligible to be considered an advantage.
find a good scout who plays on 60 fps you have a huge disadvantage without 120

TsarbucksI know for a fact that Sals Canal is staying together (imDagger confirmed it in his stream).
And there's 2 IM teams at minimum (probably).
Where/ when did it get confirmed that ERRRR, Sin6, and FRO.BLK are dying?
I really have no idea why Dagger's team would stay together when they've played 4v6 since June/ who he would even play with, I find it weird they would try to play invite again next season, maybe he meant IM? the rest is just from talking to people on those teams or people who talk to people on those teams.

Looks pretty shitty for ESEA to be anywhere near its current form right now.
Invite especially looks really rough with as many as 6 (or more EVL seems sketchy too) dead teams.

- Sals Canal
- Aeonic
- Sinful Gaming
It's likely that the people on those teams that still want to play could reform into 2 or 3 more rosters but needing to move up 4 IM teams would make for one of the least interesting and lowest skilled seasons of invite ever. Also, that would make the season tradition of scrambling for 16 IM teams even worse.
I don't know what could come out of this thread, maybe if people start realizing now that it's a problem it could increase the chances of the game not dying (in NA) for next season.
Edit: Yes I get that there was a thread posted confirming TF2 in the next season of ESEA, that doesn't mean there will be IM or even Invite

I think the biggest thing keeping it from being big is the spec client right now. Tons of people are playing competitive and on low level teams right now but watching that game feels even worse than watching tf2 to me and i'd still rather watch CS than both despite it being my least favorite of the 3 to play
