fade-ok im gonna preface this with saying that i've never talked to wrech ever so i dont know what kind of person he is but im pretty sure a reason he isn't playing im is that he doesn't want to put into the work into scrimming etc
like yes maybe he could place with offclassing but maybe that also takes effort that he doesn't want to put forth and spending the effort would lead to him not liking tf2 and killing the team
im not trying to say that it's healthy for tf2 for sandbag open teams to exist or whatever nor am i trying to try and explain why wrech is doing anything because idk the guy but sometimes maybe people just want to not try and fuck around for free money who knows

wrech's team playing open when they could offclass and place in IM is dumb yea but the much bigger problem is the fact that 80% of open moveup teams die. That's why the roster hijack rules exist, to incentivize people to keep their teams together in the off season.

SetletrandoSideshowAnd in the midst of the shuffle tf2 loses its best organisation. Pity.They were good but people think ronin was going to pay for us to go to i58 and stuff. They took a pretty decent percent of our prize money, more than what they paid in fees. The only reason that we signed with them to being with was because they were going to give us 3000 to go to i58. We lost money as players playing for them because we didn't go to i58. There was other things that they did for us outside fees and things which was pretty sweet but overall it probably wasn't worth it.
I mean giving even 3k already means that it's the best org.

He does post on occasion, if I had to guess why he doesn't post about this it's because he's mostly using a loophole in the ESEA system to try to get IM capable teams into the division.
