why does it matter? are you saying we should be beholden to things being official valve decisions? last I checked we all used custom huds and fps configs, played custom maps, used custom spectator plugins, played pugs on irc and tf2center.com, and played in a league not run by valve
isn't it obvious that valve doesn't give a fuck about comp tf2 and we should start pulling away as soon as possible?
I agree that they don't care and they never have. However Custom huds fps configs and anything else you use to customize your game(viewmodel visibility/crosshairs)use things valve allowed us to customize using commands/tools that they added with the intent of allowing players to use what they like. You are however asking for a plugin which makes a weapon behave differently in any server not using the plugin which is an awful idea.
Whos to say they're done changing stickies or that they aren't about to change various weapons/classes?

Why would 6v6/hl adopt a plugin to change the way the weapon works from literally anything that isnt a scrim/match server? I understand it sucks that they did this change so late and right before lan etc., but they dont care about that in this game.

I like the idea of the weapon icons used instead of of translucent viewmodels too. common in Quakeworld HUDs.
again I still don't see the point if you can't cycle these easily between classes though

I never talked shit to him I asked him a legitimate question if I wanted to talk shit to you guys I would've done it to you definitely not to him, trust me. I didn't want to or have to talk shit even though you guys did in game. It was a gg imo. Sal knows I joke around a lot at this point after playing with me for a full season. When I asked him what we were doing wrong on badlands I expected a legitimate answer to a legitimate question. Especially considering we were beating you much worse on other maps in scrims it's not really that hard to understand? It's ok misunderstandings happen. That's why I said it to him in a private message and not to your entire team. If my private message offended you and you took it the wrong way I apologize for that. He's not just some random, I just played an entire season with him.
He's just too nice of a guy to stand up for himself after getting shitted on by you guys who are supposed to be his real "friends". I'd post the chat logs between me and Sal but it's not really worth it at this point and he doesn't want his name thrown in the mud. Maybe I just feel really bad for Sal because I know how pumped he was to play with his "friends" and then see him get cut after you guys lose a single match. To me it's really fucked up and not neccessary. That's all. If cosa wants to harp on his bad match stats vs. us which weren't even all that bad, and cut his rl friend over it, that's shame on him. He put out as much damage as our passive scout and had twice as many captured points than anyone on your team. His other match stats were fine. That's what I don't get especially coming from a team comprised of friends. No loyalty. It could really be more of an issue with how your team plays collectively than him as an individual. Knowing how genuine of a guy sal is it pissed me off. Even more so after the loss came from my team. Oh well. GL!

His dad owns a hard rock cafe. He met cosa and a few others in real life. He brought his entire team together due to friendships. He bought his entire team gold weapons for the season. And now he's not on their team.
On a serious note.. He plays a more passive, sneaky, safe style. He has good dm and can get on hot streaks. Could easily play in high IM with the right supporting cast who don't give up on him for no reason throughout the growing pains. There's no i in team gents. Good luck my little Salim and if you can't find a spot you can join my roster.

I was actually being serious with Sal because we ARE bad on badlands and I was legitimately asking him why aren't we good on it hoping for a serious answer. I played the entire season prior with him with no issues I have no reason to rub anything in. I know you don't like my cosa, and that's okay. Without tictack i'd have someone else like Ma3la like I did in invite with the same results. Quit dodging the situation though. You just cut your rl friend/leader for no reason. That's pretty shitty.
