when I think of tf2 I do not think of banny or clockwork or platinum etc, I think of {GPG} Waka Flocka Flame. no player has simply solved tf2 quite like him. and today is none other than {GPG} Waka Flocka Flame’s birthday, and as such there is no better day to acknowledge some of the achievements of one of tf2’s greatest legends.

when I first joined gangsta pro gamers myself, it was because one thing was too obvious to me: waka is in my opinion the best tf2 player of all time for numerous reasons (including but not limited to most elo, best alias, scariest profile picture, best dm, best mindset, etc), and deserves to be celebrated and remembered today as such. waka’s spirit should live through all of us even though none of us could even hope to achieve anything near 8000 elo. waka is a born winner and should be an inspiration to us all.

honestly often I think about how lucky we are that waka has never elected to step down from his mge throne and play 6s. you would literally get fragged and exposed, the unavoidable status of every non-waka player as a flimsy worm under his shoe would be painfully unavoidable.

sadly, waka has as of now been offline for 71 days, which is very tragic. I find that this game lacks much meaning to me knowing that whatever mge server I join I have a 0% chance of seeing the kill-a-watt a rather festive tree, or no quickiebomb master at work. and knowing I now open my server browser without being able to go on the Gangsta Pro Gamers servers including mge training enhanced where I used to behold waka with an “8000” next to his name makes me feel like a suddenly emptied tube of mustard.

Woahwoahwoah, don't let this incident totally turn you away from TF2 forever assuming you're still passionate about the game. Nobody is a permabad player, don't let yourself think that you as a human being are incapable of improvement. Weather it be TF2 or anything else, improvement comes with consistent effort over a long period of time. I'd be willing to bet that if you really buckled down, watched tons of demos, grinded dm, & talked with better players, your skill level would go up proportionally. If I were you, I'd take a break to let the stress settle and come back to the decision in a clearer head space.

Looking for a roamer or pocket soldier spot in main season 8. Due to time restraints, I haven’t been able to play an actual season the past two seasons, but I’ve constantly rang/played pugs/pugscrims and continued to improve myself. I am very committed to looking at my demos and studying invite demos, and I prioritize being the best and smartest playing player I can be. I am always looking to improve. I prefer roamer but I’m more than willing to play pocket.

I don’t see how this rule furthers or helps rgl in any capacity, and I can’t imagine that a potential player vote would uphold this
