#31 nba finals in Off Topic

Not to be a jerk, but the NBA sucks compared to NCAA basketball. A lot of NBA players don't have the passion or even the will to play defense during the regular season and just magically turn it on for the playoffs. But, for some reason, ESPN and other sports networks cover the NBA playoffs so much, leading to more hype. NCAA basketball has passion and great moments.

Along those lines, I think the NHL playoffs and just the NHL as a league is a much better product than the NBA. That's just me.

#715 Do you like the song above? in Music, Movies, TV

Not my thing, but I can see how someone may appreciate it. This remix makes no sense in my mind, and it is not something I would listen to at all.

#47 What lack of sex does to you in Off Topic

He isn't alone. Hasn't he ever seen or heard of The 40-Year-Old Virgin?

But seriously this is pretty sad in both that he felt like he had to do this and that he found a creepy godlike pleasure in it.

Am I the only person hoping that this was an Invader Zim based hud?

But seriously, nice work. It looks really great.

#2 ESEA Invite: Classic Mixup vs. Street Hoops eSports in Events

I would like to see Street Hoops pull the upset, but I'm going to have to call this one 4-2 Mixup.

Hope this is a great match though.

Edit: Woops...

#5 Evaluating good play from stats/logs in TF2 General Discussion

I don't want to go all Bill James on everybody, but DPM is a flawed statistic. Although it doesn't exist, one universal number could show the value of a player. I just don't know the equation to find a number like that.

I will be going to the Univeristy of Texas in Austin for computer science and hopefully a minor in business.

I would love to see Exertus win, but I'm calling this one 5-3 froyotech.

#17 CoD in X Games? in Other Games

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but it's not like the X Games chose Call of Duty. Chances are the group that makes Call of Duty is paying ng the X Games.

#3 CPU-Intergrated Graphics in TF2? in Hardware
zeSIMONThere are many different integrated graphic thingies by Intel, so I don't really know for you.
I tried it on my notebook once (turned off the "real" graphics card) and got like 30-40fps with maxframes config :/

It's not that I have or will be running TF2 on the graphics of my CPU, it's just that I was pretty curious. But thanks for the link. I'll check it out.

Does anyone know around what frames you would get with just Intel integrated graphics. Has anyone tried this before?

Since you can no longer buy a Y580, would anyone suggest the replacement Y510p?

freakinYour parents are silly.

Source engine games are mostly CPU intensive, especially if you lower settings

I know. And thanks.

#12 Laptop for College? in Hardware

As I said, I can't bring a desktop. My parents, who are giving me half of the money, think a desktop doesn't promote being social. I would argue that a laptop can do the same, but they are stubborn...

So, I know I shouldn't get a laptop above 15 inches. Is TF2 more CPU or GPU intensive?
