Valve Server issue

Follow up:
So initially changing the max ping worked, but now I'm not able to connect to many Virgnia servers. When I try to connect, either through the console or quick-play "show servers" screen, my computer tries to connect, but fails. When I try to connect through the console, the error message I get says that it tried to connect 4 times, but failed. Any thoughts?

CaspianGo to Steam Settings and hit the In-Game tab
Change In-Game server browser: Max pings / minute to 250 or 500
It will take longer to find servers but you'll almost always be able to connect

Like a lot of tf2 players, I enjoy the occasional pub. I live on the east coast, so I usually join some Virginia valve servers and relax, but recently I've only been able to connect to Virginia servers half of the time, the other half I cannot connect and the game forces me to choose an LA server. I tried reinstalling, changing some setting, but nothing really worked. Anyone else have this issue and/or any idea as to how to solve it?

Someone commented this on the video already, but it'd be cool if we weren't always seeing the players faces, but rather POV clips of them during matches or some other kind of content. It would just make the series less podcast-like and more visual, but you could just ignore the visuals and treat it like a podcast if you want to.
