yeah there might be some last minute byoc thing but thats a huge difference from an actual international lan with a proper prizepool that top teams are going to attend

no idea where this 'too high' idea came from but imo if you're stuck in the wall hiding there that should not be allowed (agree with marm)

if you use it to avoid fall damage it's fine, you're not really using a 'map exploit' per se to hide in the specific spot, you just happened to wallbug wherever and save yourself

kaptain's clip is sick that shouldn't be banned its just like an edgebug or something, doing it to negate fall damage on the fly like that is super hard and rewards being skilled at rocket jumping

hiding way above a choke point in the skybox and being able to drop down and force a med at any time however seems pretty broken to me

i used to use a snowball and the sound quality was solid but the thing is it picks up a ton of keyboard and background noise so idk if its best for gaming, i have a yeti now on a boom so its closer to my face but if youre on a budget and shit i feel like a zalman clip on mic is the best value u can get just cause its so cheap and isnt gonna pick up ear rapingly loud noise from a metal water bottle or u banging on ur desk or wtfever lmao

memes aside i feel like rkt has actually proven himself this season and ive definitely seen him improve a lot as a player (ive been saying this whole time all he had to do was play on a team instead of pugging all day lol)

ive done a bunch of demo reviews with him and though he's definitely got certain issues to iron out and bad habits from pugs and stuff (i.e., baiting in spawn for stats instead of trying to get clutch last defense) he has certainly gotten a lot better and I've seen him fix various issues and things i've pointed out for him to do better and props to him for being eager to learn and get experienced people to demo review and give him their input etc (tho asking like me nursey and seeds all to watch ur demo might be a bit excessive lol)

id like to see him on another high IM team next season, i think he could potentially make the jump to low invite but it would be a big adjustment and i think it might be a pretty harsh learning experience with him lacking experience (similar to how phantom got picked up by hooligans4hire and though he was good mechanically and had potential he didnt have the experience and had a hard time adjusting, and sorta choked tbh, so he got cut, but after playing a bit more in IM now he's back in invite again and doin rly well)

is it safe to say that lan is cancelled? we havent heard anything more and the whole online lan servers fiasco seems to be a dumpster fire, dashnerr said if we don't hear about the pc issue getting fixed by thanksgiving to assume its not happening (or something along those lines) so it's not looking too hopeful unfortunately

this summer i dropped my phone and got a big ol crack on the screen but it has worked fine for like 3+ months since then, however tonight it slipped off my bed and i saw the whole screen go fuzzy and then glitch out and now it's entirely blakc except for the top right corner where all the cracks sort of lead to, presumably where it fell and got broken lol. It like lights up sort of fainbtly blue when i hit the lock button but its pretty much dead, when i touch the screen anywhere it goes black temporarily until i stop.
my guess is that something mustve finally gotten dislodged or fucked up even more? luckily i have it in a somewhat decently protective case (spigen rugged armor or smt like that), but im kind of clumbsy and dropped it a few times, with nothing else happening whatsoever up until this point, ive assumed that its just a tank and the crack was no big deal but evidently not

idk what tf to do, i remember looking into getting it replaced but it was more money than i cared for the visual of it because it didnt rly affect me being able to read, and plus i read that if u send it in to get the screen fixed and they see the back of the body has a little part broken off they have to like replace the whole thing not just the screen and it costs you much more

i got the phone (pixel 2) less than a year ago and i actually might have some sort of verizon protection insurance thing on it? i know when i went to europe for the summer i got it in case it got stolen or lost or whatever not sure if i cancelled it since then or not, will have to check
maybe it'll be cheaper to repair now that the pixel 3 is out lol (probably not)
