#31 streplay.tv- anyone seen this? in TF2 General Discussion

Hey I'm Barncow, creator of TF2Logs.com and streplay.tv. I'm willing to answer any questions you may have.

The goal of streplay.tv is to take what made TF2Logs great, and make it better. I think it would be cool to take the map output of the kills and expand it so that you can not only view kills and deaths, but positions of players, sentries, etc. However, there would be a 90 second delay to prevent cheating (which I'm willing to discuss if that is too short, or if perhaps there should be something like a "Fog of war" or something. Last time I checked, SourceTV and casting delays the feed by about 90 seconds, so anything you could know via SourceTV you would know via streplay).

It would be nice to have the map view pan and zoom like in Google Maps, and perhaps a Youtube-like embedded clip of the match that you can put on any website. I'm hoping to get enough data from the game that rivals a SourceTV demo, but that may or may not be technically feasible. I'd like to expand on SourceTV and provide more detailed stats, and perhaps add visual information to the map, such as the paths taken to mid, or something else, kind of like how a football game on TV that has first down lines, line of scrimmage, etc, but only with TF2 related stuff.

I will also donate this service for free to 1 or more free pugging communities, but that is still a ways off.

Again, let me know if you want to discuss further. You can add me on Steam: http://steamcommunity.com/id/barncow/
