nazaraplaying scout without recoil seems like so much fun
Shotgun in quake is exactly that
Muster up what willpower you have and endure it. Work towards the bigger goal that playing for this team will push you towards.
When you think that you can't take anymore, just imagine your end game, the amount of work it took to get this close to it, and the satisfaction and self fulfillment that you'll feel when you achieve it, or even just progress a bit further towards it.
I think the one time my mother ever laid a hand on me was when I was a toddler, and I punched her because I thought she was misbehaving. She retaliated by hitting me as hard as she could because according to her, my toddler punch apparently hurt her from what she says. I never hit her ever again after that. My father never hit me because he was never around, so aside from that one instance, I've never been struck or spanked. I'm not sure if my reluctance to use physical violence when all other options have been exhausted is because of this, but it's certainly possible.
I don't think smacking or beating your children is the way to properly convey to them that a certain action is unacceptable, and I'd never hit any child I may or may not end up having. Like others have said, there are better ways to teach children how to behave, even if they're momentarily inconvenient and require you to take time out of your day.
Avvywhy are there so many people with bad opinions about the game in the tf2 community, like im genuinely curious
It's a game that attracts people new to arena shooters and the fps genre in general due to the way Valve has marketed it in the past decade.
They're unable to understand why their opinions are less than beneficial towards the game because to them this is a wacky and crazy game where a bunch of funny random shit happens. They don't know anything about weapon balancing or class balancing.
They just want to play and have a good time, and to them, the big bad 6s players are taking away their fun for what they see as no reason whatsoever.
Tino_Holy fuck I am actually so tilted.
You have no idea...
bearodactylAptHonestly, new balances aside, I'd love for them to revert demo's primaries back to what they used to be pre nerf.if this means reverting the sticky nerf i agree but afaik they also changed pipes to do a constant 100 damage
please don't make it possible again for an unbuffed soldier to live with 1hp after being double piped for 100 and 99
edit: or maybe by demo primaries you're referring to shit like the loose cannon (which was absurdly strong pre-nerf, a medic could drop uber to a single double donk for 152 iirc)
I actually wasn't aware of the pipe damage inconsistency. In that case I'd be fine with them leaving pipes alone to do constant 100.
Honestly, new balances aside, I'd love for them to revert demo's primaries back to what they used to be pre nerf.
gives me hope that may or may not be crushed in the future
good blogpost
wolves-yayoooviperbecause im scream at heart not kennyswolves-yayooothe ambassador is literally the only thing fun about spy
if all you enjoy doing on spy is headshotting people with the ambassador then why not just play sniper
preach my man
springrollsAptWith that being said though, holy shit, pushing last with a heavy present is going to be HARD. They can store their ramp up damage if they stay revved. If they decide to fire the gun off for a little while during a last stalemate and hold it I can easily see anything that isn't ubered just being torn to shreds.
I mean, doesn't that just change it back to pre love and war heavy once they rev up?
Wasn't around for that so I honestly had no idea that was the case. That's kinda neat.
I definitely don't think reducing accuracy on the ambassador in any aspect is the right way to balance the weapon. Like others have said I believe a sort of damage falloff for distance would be preferential to the "the game decided its gonna miss" rebalance.

I think you guys are somewhat missing the point. He's not saying to use the meet the videos literally, he's saying that Valve could attempt to explain how each class works properly in a competitive setting via animated sfm videos in a comical way, much like the way they were used to introduce us to the characters.
knsumelettoconsidering ingame matchmaking is 6v6 having a transitional 7v7 format when the final most competitive format is 6v6 again doesn't make any senseAs dumb as it is that we have "transitional" formats this was in fact the entire purpose of highlander in its original conception. The problem was that a bunch of mongos never transitioned and now we have a divide. I think having a transitional format is unnecessary but if we're going to have one I would much prefer 7v7 prolander over hl
Fingers crossed they both die out.
The entire concept of a transitional format in itself is flawed. A format that's not only easier to get into with a lower skill ceiling and the ability to play their off-class full-time? Why would the average player have any incentive to move to 6s in that case, especially if they didn't start out as a Scout, Soldier, Demo or Medic main? It was doomed to divide the community from the start.
wonderlandwell, diamond0wner made it here
shit you've got a good point
