My friend wanted me to play Portal so I got the orange box and eventually we started playing TF2

Loved the second half and the ending. First half had a few i guess awkward moments maybe as a result of the reshoots. Seemed like there was a lot more going on with the Forrest Whitaker character that must have been cut or something because it felt weird.

As the originator of the term meatshot I get that question a lot but lucky for you I'm here to settle this debate once and for all.

Being on a team that's participating in a league gives structure and direction to your practice. I guarantee you people on teams are dming and pugging a lot more than your team less friend. When you have matches to win and playoff dreams to chase, you will be driven to practice harder. Besides that, a single really good scrim is worth 100 pugs. Your friend won't realize that until he actually experiences it. I learned and improved more in my first few weeks of scrimming with my first real team than I did in years of fucking around in pugs and lobbies.

Played Xbox version with my friend Jordan. We farmed achievements on Granary. We were taking turns headshotting each other. He takes a while to respawn and I thought he went afk or something and then he backstabbed me.

Not hating on nades, it was just something I had always read about and seen arguments about before I had played the game. When I actually played and saw what they were capable of, (and that you can toss them and use your primary simultaneously) all of that discussion finally clicked and I see why Valve thought they were off putting for new players.

Tried to play it some with Soapy a couple years ago and got insta killed a lot by people who know how to time nades properly and finally understood why it was removed for TF2.
