I use them plugged straight into my headphone jack and they sound great. I'm not an audiophile but I'd assume these headphones wouldn't gain much from an external dac/amp

also, I wanted to use this thread to say two things:

if you're in the coaches group and have got friends you know would like to coach (and know what they're doing), shoot em an invite. I can't add everyone myself, and the more experienced players in the group just helps come mix time.

also, whats better for newbie mixes: friday or saturday nights? they used to be run saturdays, but pie_hero changed them to friday for reasons I don't know.
