#1 North Korea fucks up again in Off Topic

"Earlier, Pyongyang said it had a right to carry out a pre-emptive nuclear strike and was pulling out of the armistice that ended the Korean War." Also they want to nuke the U.S.

What is going on

KissmealfaIf you want to put your money into something, invest in Dreamhack

I think someone crunched down the numbers and it would take about 25k or more to get TF2 as an event there.

But if we invest in getting TF2 into Dreamhack, then we'd still have to raise the money to send an American team there (since it's in Sweden I believe.)

Edit: I mean, do we believe that we can raise ~$35,000 as a community to not only fund TF2 in Dreamhack (~$25,000), but also fly an NA team to it (~$10,000)? It'd take a massive community get-together.

What? No, you have enough TF2 teams in EU to represent such an event at dreamhack, why would you put more money into bringing NA teams to it? The whole point of that idea is to make sponsors take this game a bit more seriously and say "Oh that game looks awesome, maybe we should invest in it".

But nothing like that will happen, there's no way the competitive side of TF2 can raise that much money without external aid. It's sad but true. I think the only way to make something like i46 happen again is to have ESEA open an Euro TF2 League and maybe somehow make a common LAN like they did with CS:GO.
