explosivecakeI'm trying to make health bars appear in spectator mode my HUD, but for some reason, adding the "spectator_extras" section from the default HUD into spectator.res and spectatortournament.res doesn't make them appear. Also, my HUD apparently has the text needed for the text used for the names (SpectatorVerySmall if I'm right), yet those aren't showing up either. Are there any parts or console commands (other than tf_spec_xray_disable 0) that I'm missing?

Add to hudlayout.res as well, kaptain had this issue a while ago too.

I downloaded grape's version of m0rehud, but this crosshair is not found within hudlayout.res file.

tetrominoi love vaccinator but running it to mid is a huge troll

Yeah I played a random lobby a week or so ago and the med was constant vaccinator, I was getting to mids with like 15 hp before the pack on gully, and I'm pretty sure that was with taking 0 fall damage. The overheal speed is really shitty for getting to mid, it's still decent to run on last holds with massive disadvantage though.

AdmirableI tried using it in a highlander scrim once, but wasn't well received. The world isn't ready yet for my vacc plays :D

I played that game ads, we had like 5 mercs, never give up, never surrender.

ultyI am looking to upgrade my pc and see where i should start:
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Mobo: ASRock Z77 Pro4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Storage: Crucial M500 120GB SSD, 1TB Hard Drive
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 760 2GB
PSU: OCZ Fatal1ty 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

Here's where I'm at so far, my PSU isn't completely modular but my cable management could be a lot better. I am also currently running out of space on my ssd. Is there anything else i should consider?

If that's your current setup and all you're playing is tf2 that should run fine, you could get a cooler and OC the 3570k if you feel you're not getting enough fps though. I'm running a setup that's a little worse than yours and still pull good fps in both 6s and highlander.

Looks like you still need to add the "medal_width" line next to name_width. That said, you can't change the name lenght any more since this last update.

#7 Crosshair Help Pls! in TF2 General Discussion

1tobthe files for the crosshair can be found in raysHud if you want to transfer it. The crosshair itself can be found in hudlayout.res and is a section of about 6 different HUD elements (2 vertical lines, 4 horizontal ones). Not sure which fonts belong to it but it's easy to check in hudlayout.res

They aren't fonts they're images that are in the game by default, no need to go looking for fonts OP.

MedusaHow about using dx8 when playing normally and switching to dx9 when you want to play MM? I know that's definitely what I'm gonna do because fuck dx9.

Yeah they have a lot of work to do atm to make dx9 even close to what dx8 is. I tried out dx9 in a lobby last night and it just felt horrific in comparison, thing is that I still had pretty decent fps, the game just felt a lot worse overall.
