I finished the ones I missed except for pie hero's because the demo bugged out and broking's because I didn't know if he wanted it reviewed or not since he didn't post it. Uploading them as I sleep tonight.

I just finished yeeegz' demo and Noble's. I'll be getting to Mayo's after that and probably marez' later. Probably won't get Dennia since I've already done a few Scouts this week. Uploading them for Thursday or Friday.

I think the general problem with this thread is that it's not specified whether or not this is a specific warning or whether or not this is an expression of the general rule TFTV is going to follow.

In the case of specific targeting, asking we want fuck and mason's team to change their names privately would've been better and ultimately would probably arrive at a solution without the appearance of forcing anyone's hand.

In the case of the general rule as to why some matches aren't being casted I feel like this should've been some kind of article or included in some kind of rule post. This kind of nonchalant forum post doesn't really give the authority it deserves and appears to me, at least, to be directed mainly at the two Main teams mentioned above.

In short, think before you post.

EDIT: Response to Fog. That's clear to me now after a second reading, but my criticism in the third paragraph still stands and I think it would have been better to avoid specific examples of existing teams.

It could definitely be fun but on these small maps it'll just be awkward. If larger maps were ported over it could be pretty cool. In regards to me arguing that the bhop mod in general isn't that fun that's just me being a purist and not appreciating the ease of it and being put off by the awkwardness of the autojump.

Honestly, the best part about this is the 5v5. I've been contemplating why the skill and behaviour of players has been declining over the past year in DM and I think it has something to do with 4v4. It allows players to play really passive, not work on their aim, and play the stat game. They're not afraid of someone spawning and fighting them so as far as they're concerned they can 1v1 the guy they're fighting for however long they want. 5v5 helps with this a little bit and the class limits on the server make it so you don't have to run a demo or sniper which is great. Honestly if you were to change much from the 10 person servers you'd be making a mistake.

On a side note I don't see why people actually like the bhop mod. It feels like trash, sinking into the ground, isn't particularly useful, and won't be fun on these small maps (I would argue if it's fun at all).

In closing, keep the maps small, keep it 10 slots. Thanks a lot these will probably be my go to for DM instead of the TFTV servers.

Mason's team name really isn't that offensive honestly, I think most people that would have access to the cast would agree that it's not that morally reprehensible. I think generally everyone can agree that we want fuck crosses the line, but honestly each of them paid $18.00 and premium so they can name their team whatever they want. There isn't really any incentive for them to change it, obviously they could change it to something they like that isn't offensive. If that's the name they like the most then they should be getting harassed for it. They paid for it after all.

I had typed up a bit more about why we exhaust ourselves trying to get newer players to join and stand idly by and watch the older, more experienced players leave without any real consideration, but it doesn't feel like the right place and it clearly wouldn't be received so well. Just be warned, in general every season a good teams (people who synergize well, have a good plan, and each individually hold their own) are dying and the players are quitting. That's pretty depressing from a competitors perspective and it makes for bad games to watch.

Cut a lot of these next ones (BroKing, Rikachu, goldfish, and Dagger) early for a couple of reasons (I was starting to repeat myself a lot and the play style choices from the teams made it difficult to find errors aside from what they were doing was generally bad).

To the people I missed, sorry, I did a lot of your class/division so check those out and I'll give you some priority for following weeks. I might actually go over my demo against Animus Victoria just because a lot of what we were attempting to do in that game sums up what I was saying in most reviews.

On towards Badlands. As a small notice I won't be doing a lot of the koth maps, because generally the games play out very similar. If your team does something like all kritz let me know in your post as that'd be pretty cool.
