#12 Urgent computer help please. in Hardware

It's probably using 2 sticks of 2GB right now. If you order 2x 4GB, you'll need to get rid of the other 2.

Possibly a SSD or maybe a 120Hz Monitor. We'll see.

#30 Do you guys play any instruments? in Off Topic
PlatypuscapnfapnDrums are like mge, there are ways to practice without pissing people off.You can get silencing pads for drums right?

Or play on a V-Drum like I do. I own a Roland TD4. It's awesome even though the rubber pads can get annoying to people but I play through an amp most of the time and that usually drowns the sticks hitting the pads.

DrPloxoThere's a new rogue, which is great, since it lacked quality late-game rogues. He'll probably have terrible stats, but hell, if he has the right specs we COULD have a quality good-rogue.

What about Jan Jansen? He was more of a thief than a Rogue but still. I loved him so much.

My favorite line up I had in this game was: My character as a Bard + Korgan - Edwin - Viconia - Jan Jansen and the last one was whoever I felt like at the time but I think I went with Cernd because Shapeshifters are awesome.

#1 Connection Timing Out in Hardware

Hi!

I recently changed my router from a D-Link WBR to a D-Link N900 because the old router couldn't provide wi-fi throughout the entire house. However, it times out. A lot.

However, it only times out on my computer. The actual network stays up no problem but I lose connection to it. This happens kinda rarely unless I'm watching a stream where it'll time out every 10 minutes or so. Happens with downloads as well. My connection stops working for 5-6 minutes and works fine again but during that downtime, I can stil browse the internet except half the stuff won't load fully.

If it happens while I'm playing DotA 2 for example, I get disconnected, wait for Steam to come back up and I can reconnect to the game fine but the moment I join, I disconnect instantly again and need to wait about 4-5 minutes for it to fully recover.

I'm not wired and that is not a possibility either but I did get to test it and I never dropped. I'm using a USB adapter which I'll assume is the cause of my problems but I'm wondering if there is a way to fix this. Been thinking of possibly buying a network card as a last resort but only if it's necessary.

Thanks in advance.

It's fairly easy to play on a basic level. The thing is that the passive tree is so huge that you need to theorycraft/plan your build ahead of time according to what skill you want to use.

I can't wait to see actual competitive matches played on this patch. It's gonna be glorious. I love most of the changes.

ISFP. Sounds about right. Everyone assumes I'm a huge faggot for having feelings and caring about people.

Fuck.

Slin, just download the beta and see for yourself. I personally really like it, but it's up to you.

#21 Battlefield 4 Beta in Other Games

Game runs fine on low with a i5-3570K and a 7850 2GB. 4GB of RAM and a standard 1TB Hard Drive. Game is pretty fun but I'm getting so much micro freezes like when I run around a corner, game freezes and goes back to normal and you die in the process.

Also, my loading times are atrocious and I had this problem with BF3 too where it can take up to 2-3 minutes loading a map and my friend on a laptop with inferior specs take about 30-45 seconds.

reillyI'd be down to go, although I heard last year was a bit of a disappointment.
Do you guys still think it's worth it?

Last year failed because about 100 people voted for the tourney to be in and about 30 people showed up which lead the organization to remove the entire prize pool and stuff.

It could work if you guys want to organize it but don't expect much support from the team this year.
