So last night Froyotech became the first team to break six-figures in total tournament earnings for 6v6 which hasn't happened before in the history of the game.
Obviously they have won a bit more than this thanks to sigafoo but lol 7's...

viperya and most of those tournaments aside from the monthly and weekly cups will require people to qualify for the tournaments on-sight instead of online, meaning u could fork out $2,000 to go to a 2v2 event in france and not even play in the tournament
really, really shitty move on their behalf, not to mention they said literally nothing about ctf like they said they would, and the only new content shown was strogg invader, everything else was shoehorned in and was content theyve shown already through dev streams
all in all, an extremely disappointing announcement from id and bethesda, heres hoping may/june bring something to the table
Its handy if your already sponsored or have a steady income, but it fucks over grassroots players who want to be motivated to qualify for the big leagues.
