Snow have you checked your order status on the website? When I sent a dispute it change my status to Paypal Reversed.

If it's anything like the orders though, you should be able to see your money refunded anywhere between 2 weeks to 2 months.

#17 stabby-stabby leaving TF2 in TF2 General Discussion
GetawhaleOne thing that upsets and concerns me is the number of players who are latching on to this and Lange's thing as being "proof" that TF2 is dying or competitive is dying. I've had random people asking me if TF2 is dying, and that concerns me.

Certainly if it's the opinion of some that the game is dying, that's their opinion. But people are taking this as fact.

People had these thoughts way before Lange posted that video, difference is that like Lange, people more recognised in the community are venting their thoughts on popular platforms instead of just in a mumble with a few other people.

This doesn't mean that comp is actually dying, I think this means that people are starting to realise that if you put a lot of effort in to the game you aren't going to really see as much of a return as you used to.

Something which stands out for me is when he said that playing pub doesn't cut it anymore. I 100% agree, I used to love this game and could play pub TF2 for ages, now pub TF2 is just a shit storm with no real sense behind it. People running around with fucking taunts, meleeing all the time, fucking parachutes, pub is less about actually fucking killing people and more about doing some retarded shit on your own. It's very difficult to carry on playing this game when the standard public side just isn't enjoyable at all and the comp side just isn't active enough.

It's up.

Apologies that it's low quality, I did this all yesterday and the files went corrupt, so I blasted through it again.

I really need a decent recording set up too!

And @edy

Yes you will need to change ur sens, but that's just to get used to controlling the mouse, once you are used to it you will probably move it higher after a while.

I've been using it for like hours now, constant video gaming, I've even handled it after pizza as it's become sort of a ritual...

It's good.

Mine arrived, feels pretty solid to me, not having any of the rubbery mouse clicks. My only minor gripe is the position of the side buttons.

I'll do a video tomorrow after I've spent the evening video gaming.

#3 headset or headphones in Hardware

Get some HyperX Clouds if you want a headset.

But like everything else it's all about personal preference, I've had the headphones + microphone set up for years and I love having a headset now.

The orders that were meant to be sent via Royal Mail 2 weeks ago have gone to Amazon, but at the moment there isn't any update from him when they will ship. However they are showing as in stock with Amazon to buy from them directly (can get it through Prime).

It's also like £5 cheaper.

#81 Lange's thoughts on the state of competitive TF2 in TF2 General Discussion

Even if TF2 comp is dying, who gives a shit? Look at how much people have achieved with this game based off just the communities efforts to make it happen!

Anyway, for me the game is suffering from a few things:

1. No matchmaking, this may be a small thing for some but for me it's a big deal. There's a massive change in player habits in terms of games over the last 10 years, it used to all be about joining your favourite server and meeting the same group of people etc. Now it's based mainly on matchmaking and playing a competitive format, community aspects of games are somewhat slipping away and no longer being a focus (CSGO, Dota2, LoL, COD). This means that people are used to hitting play and actually playing the god damn game straight away in a competitive environment.

This creates a feel that TF2 is more casual as there isn't really a progress report unlike the other games out there.

2. Unlocks ARE shitty, people you can argue all you want about how us not using them is hurting the popularity but we literally have no choice. No other FPS title has such a diverse set of weapons and classes, balance is an integral part of FPS games, OP guns get used and toned down, underused weapons will at most part be left underused. In TF2 it's not like this so much, OP weapons are INCREDIBLY OP and will get used but not nerfed. Valve can't expect 6v6 players to start using wrangler mini sentries on badlands spire in the hopes they will see how OP it is and nerf it, we already know it's a fucking joke but they just leave it.

3. Competitive resources are also a big thing for me, before TF2 was F2P we used to have MGE which was a great source of pro player guides etc. Now with TF2 F2P we don't have anything like that to help people come in to the game, yeah we have streams, but MGE was actually pretty decent as the content was pretty good quality.

4. Hype, I can't really comment on the NA scene that much but for the EU scene there is a large lack of hype these days, the grand finals for S19 happened and there wasn't really much hype being built around it, it might be because of the shit teams but who knows.

Regardless of what happens to TF2 you can still be fucking proud of what we've done, look at logs.tf , spectator plugins, NodeCG, i52, i49, i46 and many more, this was all done with the communities efforts who love the game and nothing else.
