#7 FPS boost by disabling steamwebhelper in TF2 General Discussion
zfnUpdate:I've found a much easier way. You can configure the steam client itself with launch options!

Link here for more information.

On Windows, right-click your Steam shortcut, open Properties, then edit the Target line after \Steam.exe" with the line "-no-browser" (Note, you may need -console too). There are other launch options you can use, such as ones to disable any VR stuff and so forth. Feel free to experiment and see what works for you.

For example, here's mine:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" -console -no-browser

This will stop the steamwebhelper service from starting up, and just means that you need to use firefox or chrome when you want to browse the store or trade etc, which a lot of people do this anyway.

Please try this out and see if you notice a difference in TF2 like I did!

I have been looking for YEARS to fix this annoying stutter I would always get, which would lead to annoying deaths and other problems. THANK YOU for the FPS boost and finally fixing this annoying stutter. You are the best.

#5 jenkins - lft open roamer/pocket in Recruitment (looking for team)

Jenkins is probably my favorite teammate from my time that I played a lot more comp than I do now.

Dedicated, smart, does not get tilted in comms or anything. Basically a golden teammate.

Good at the game, can play sniper very well, and has quality DM that he looks to improve.

this game blows

pick him up if you enjoy good players on your team

#139 The Supposed God of Demoman in TF2 General Discussion

Heyo folks, I'm the leader of the team he subs on.

He's nothing incredible, in our scrims against Steel teams he was consistently low on the scoreboard and wasn't really a huge factor in the victories we had, we did win each scrim with him on the team, but we played a pretty disorganized team so take that with a grain of salt. In the other scrim he wasn't much of a factor either. Def not pipe jesus or whatever, and I know that its rude to say that about my own teammates but its just speaking the truth. He's an average demo that has a very narcissistic approach to how he plays the game.

Logs for you: http://sizzlingstats.com/stats/322450 http://sizzlingstats.com/stats/322131

He also has no mic, so there's that. I dunno why he subs in the first place tbh, its usually when we don't have any other options.
