ryzen is gonna be on par with skylake and possibly low-end kaby lake cpus, plus it's amd's first architecture to support ddr4 and pci-e 3.0 (fucking finally)
so yeah just wait, and if ryzen offerings aren't for you then there's a lot of good low-mid tier kaby lake cpus that can get the job done

leviathanMy idea for balancing jarate is to divide the soaked time by the amount of players hit. For example, if I hit 4 players with 1 jarate jar, they would each have jarate on them for 2.5 seconds. Please tell me if I'm dumb, but i think this is alright.
same concept with mad milk
valve kind-of did this with the sydney sleeper and although it did nerf it slightly, it's still pretty broken
but that's a step in the right direction, not enough to warrant jarate being unbanned though

the pomson doesn't drain uber/cloak from a distance anymore and it's damage from a distance has been reduced
the only way for it to be effective is if the engineer using it is in close-quarters combat which isn't really viable if he has a gun up
