I think it was the steam cloud issue. It seems fixed. Thanks for all the help, guys.

Like with sensitivity and cfgs, the practice you choose is subjective. If you find yourself improving in games via MGE or DM, go for that. It's important to find the practice that makes your time the most worth it, or else you're just wasting it.

I think I tried that before, but it didn't change anything. I'll make sure of that though once I get home.

I've asked tf2scripts and truetf2 before, but that didn't help me. :(

oh totally, but q3a is dead except the promode community, and it'd be much more optimal to run it through steam, considering all of my other games are filed there

I'd recommend the noctis hud btw, and ill up my autoexec as well so you can see some of the basic settings you want in the game in terms of graphics, lg, etc. Unlike tf2, a lot of settings in ql are imo, personal, such as flares, lg style, picmip etc. Let me know if you have any questions or anything; it's a fantastic game which everyone should play.
