Why do so many people bash 9v9?

As a previously only HL player, I find it to be a slow clusterfuck much of the time compared to 6s. I get bored of things like the heavy and sentry guns. I feel more accomplished when I win in 6s. I also think executing a great push is far more satisfying in 6s than in HL.
But HL is fun for me to screw around in still.

Thanks for the swift response! One other question I thought of: For MGE 2v2, when a dead player changes class it causes the round to be lost for the team that changed class. Is it possible to make it so this doesn't change anything until a new round begins to prevent this?

Just a question: Is it possible to get tournament mode working for MGE 2v2 so you can properly change teams and start the game when you want? I tried it yesterday and when tournament mode was enabled, it just removed everyone from the arena and did not actually work.
