#13 Yearly reminder in Off Topic

"I haven't played in a league since I saw how much the medic mattered, it may have evolved since then.
Medics are one of the closest (let's discount ubers for a second, since that's a clear problem) good healers there are because of a few things;

* They can't heal themselves

* They have low combat capabilities

* They have to constantly babysit their targets non-stop to be effective, keeping them closer to danger

These things are giant wins, and things LoL can use if done correctly. See my previous post for how heals can be improved in LoL, and we're releasing more support characters. However LoL is meant to have attrition be extremely meaningful. With laning, tower pushing and harassment, heals fight against this actively. " - Morello

#39 The Mouse/Mousepad Thread (last updated Sep. 9, 2013) in Hardware
povohatI feel where you are coming from Koeitje. It appears as though the OP is a list of all the mice that people use, regardless of whether they are actually good or not. I personally would not recommend a lot of the mice listed because of their objective flaws.

Having said that, Sheep uses a g9x (adns-9500) and it appears as though he isn't struggling that much with the inconsistent nature of its tracking.

just need the right surface i guess

#4 need criticism on new computer build in Hardware
KhakiAlso as far as I know, 16gb of RAM is a bit excessive, so I'd just go with 8gb as you mosty likely won't see a big difference between the two

Pretty sure you want to keep that 16gb RAM as he want to render/photoshop, 16gb is overkill if you are not going to do any editing of kind just gaming w/e also getting a i7 is something to consider if you are mainly going to edit stuff or render :)

MR_SLINTviQMR_SLINTurn off 3D stereoscopic after lightboost is activatedwhy
I don't know why but it's in the instructions. You turn on 3D stereoscopic to activate lightboost mode. After your monitor switches over you turn 3D stereoscopic back off. This will prevent the issue described. Your monitor will stay in lightboost mode even after you turn the 3D stereoscopic off.

When I leave it on my computer does the same thing. It slowly lags up and makes using the computer impossible.

i do not have this problem that you are saying it should do i still have it checked on

tonmasTviQtonmasyukiIt's really good for me with the hack on my 2420T. The only problem I've had lately is that, very rarely, my screen will just go black and I'll hear a Windows 'device disconnected' sound. After a couple of seconds (I often have to alt tab out then back in, also) it fixes.

I used the "ToastyX Custom Resolution Utility – lightboost.bin" for reference.

Bump. I'm having this same issue with the XL2411T and the Unofficial hack, but it's happening way too often to be usable. I really like having lighboost on but right now the downside is too big. Anyone happen to have a fix?
Ive got the 2411T and i dont have any problems what so ever with lightboost.. and i used the unofficial hack where you change the driver to the asus one and i used ToastyX Custom Resolution Utility:D. If you ask me that problem doesnt sound like a driver or a graphics card problem rather cable problem cant say for sure as i dont have that problem

I'm using the same setup. Never had the problem before I started using the hack so I think it is not a cable issue, will look in to it though. Monitor going black also reverts it to my old settings.

Ye that means its the cable because the lightboost gets automaticly turned off if the power to the monitor is cut and same with the monitor settings unless they have been saved
