Brightness of my Laptop

My laptop keeps flickering in brightness from one level to full brightness (I usually have it @ full brightness). It kinda happens often. I checked my power options for all 3 of my power plans and they're all at full brightness both unplugged and plugged. I don't know if this is a software thing or a hardware thing, but if anyone knows of a solution to stop this flickering, please tell me.

Earbud issues

The left earbud on my earbuds finally broke. I'm pretty sure it's the wire since whenever I move the cable around, it starts working and stops whenever it moves again. I'm guessing it's how I carry it around with me since I just shove it in my pocket with my phone. How should I carry my earbuds around and if there's anything else that I should do to not let my future earbuds break so soon.

Ya the materials folder was the problem so I went through all the folders and got to the thumbnails and deleted them all. Seemed to work
