I'm with b4nny on testing the shorter time limit. If this is good thing, maybe the influential players can get in touch with valve and we can get a game command that control round timer.
Or course the testing would be with a mod.

4812 frames 60.080 seconds 80.09 fps (12.49 ms/f) 14.454 fps variabilityI tired this config long before tftv thread (reddit pm), also every other config on Windows/Linux and I have around the same FPS.
But, I recommend this one as this is the most documented comfig I found.

Press the loadout preset bind (you can configure it for A,B,C and D). Then when you have equipped loadoutout A and is bind for e.g on button P, when you press P you will move spawn.

I think DirectX 8.1 is your problem here. This config is designet for dx90+. Like mastercoms said, you can achive the same look as dx8 in dx9 with the right cvars.
Try setting it to dx9 and see if it crashes. Also when you run the -dxlevel you should then close the game and remove it because it is knows to causes crashes.

TriRIKUsing 5.0.3 and when you try to use a Paint on a weapon, all weapons are black. I'm using maxperformance, with mat_picmip to HIghest.
Viewing in the Warpaint button on the bottom right at class selection in item menu, shows fine.
Actually this was caused by Steam Overlay. I started the game and skins were fine, opened the Overlay and back to applying war paint and it was black, reopening the overlay fixed it again. Strange behavior. I'm using Ubuntu btw.

+1 for default uncommented "exec custom". Having no autoexec in config will not work with simple copy-paste. Having "exec custom" uncommented is better because it will be easier to update (with copy-paste or some git automation idk). custom.cfg is not present and unless you create one, it will simply be skipped (printed to console "custom.cfg not present, not executing)
