#66 Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire in Other Games

I loved sappphire, pokemon beauty pagents and decorating homes in trees and never forget the tv interviews. As well as the best pokemon name ever: surskit (sourshit in swedish)

#28 How long have you been around? in Off Topic

Got The Orange Box for christmas '07 played it a bunch, at the time valve started cranking out updates with new items my PC died and I didn't play again until january 2012.

I found numlocked's stream on twitch before i49 and found it very entertaining. Started watching the ETF2L season and then i49 and was hooked. Started playing comp myself after that.

#60 What Are Your Casting Preferences? in TF2 General Discussion

I'd also like to see all casts use viewmodel_fov 90, it's used almost all the time save for GXL.
It's a nice number and consistency is a good thing.

atmoToodlesI hope we never have to see sponsor logos superimposed on the map as was the case at GXL.
Why? I thought the integration was quite cool, particularly in the case of the Corsair logo with the transparent background. The TFTV logo in colour was a bit distracting perhaps, but the overall idea is a good one when used subtly.

I found it distracting and just aesthetically unappealing.

Also, to work against the negative influences of commercialism, was part of the swedsih culture legislature for a long time. Haha

#45 What Are Your Casting Preferences? in TF2 General Discussion

HI! As an avid watcher of the casts I appreciate this thread.

Map scores: having the previous maps, along with the current score in the top right in a small box is
what I'd like to see. Keeps people asking for the score of the previous match in chat being trolled etc. Also remember to hud_realoadscheme when the map timer freezes.

Meidibeam: as long as statusspec isn't broken that should always be used, in the way David posted above.

Overral team HP: Not something I find valuable, a seconds glance at the players health on the left is enough for me.

Individual player HP: ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY, I remember seeing it with numbers instead of the bar commonly used and I gotta say I prefer the bars. Having the name of the player there too is unnecessary.

Outlines: for players, without a doubt, it's a great feature. Having it for stickies is also good, seeing a trap or a randomly strewn sticky is something I appreciate.

Overlays: The way it is now, with the overlay at the start, end and between rounds is perfect. It shows, who are playing, who the crew is and wheteher it's over or starting soon. Adding a !casters bot command to chat could be useful in case someone has troubles seeing the full title(watching on mobile). Facecam for casters is not something that I find necessary, but I have nothing against it being implemented.

Fixed names: Yes, seeing who someone actually is is great. Props to ETF2L for implementing it as a rule for prem.

Logos: I hope this is kept to a minimum, add it to the overlay between games. I hope we never have to see sponsor logos superimposed on the map as was the case at GXL. Or on player models, welp.

Bird's eye view: Having this for the start of a mid is something I like, seeing where a team goes after a valley rollout on badlands etc and then jumping in to the 1st person view is good. And when a caster says they'll watch X person at mid, follow that person at least initially.

HUD: the tftv hud is splendid.

Camerawork: seeing the massive airshots or the uberpush, I couldn't tell ya. I think in this case the camerman has to make a judgement call. As long as we're not watching a spy sneaking about while a ppush is going on. When it comes to spies and snipers, it's always a bit exciting to see whether or not the uberdropping headshot before a last push will come in or not, so even if the caster knows the outcome-sniper missed shots for 2 minutes- try to keep it on the sniper.

Mumblecoms: whenever this is possible go for it, great insight into the teams flow and gives the casters a break and the viewers a break from the casters.

Casting: I like the idea of a play-by-play/hype caster and a more analytical follow up from the other, Sideshow and Mike did this really well together. Having two casters who are inexperienced is never a good idea. I think most of the casters casting ETF2L atm are really good.

That's all I could think of atm. Also KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!! Being part of such a small community that shows this level of care is a great thing.

P.S. Sideshow to dethrone Admirable as caster of the season.

#7 Steam Community overlay busted for TF2 only? in Q/A Help

I've had this problem for ages, sometimes when I start my PC and steam the overlay will work but only in the first game I play and if i stop playing it it won't work. Steam support proved unsuccesfull in aiding me. Now i put my faith into this solution. I will return, hopefully joyous.

Colouring is a bit dark but otherwise really good. Clean editing and nice music.

The penultimate clip on gully was real nice.

Turn it all into a telenovella, lots of drama and intrigue.

Try and get an indepth interview with the casters and cameramen about their thoughts on the casting aspect of the game.

#1 Ingame chat broken in Q/A Help

For some reason since the last couple of updates, I can't see what I write in the chat doesn't appear for me but it does for others. Don't know why, it shouldn't be my HUD should it? Broesel btw.
Some others have had the same issue but it works fine for most it'd seem.

Thankful for insight.
