StockI have the exact opposite lmao. 5ghz makes my ping go crazy and 2.4 stabilized it.
5ghz networks usually have a smaller range than 2.4ghz networks. if you're getting worse spikes on 5ghz, you're physically too far away from the router.

i think you just pinpointed the problem, and then came to the opposite conclusion that you should have. tf2 isn't taken seriously as an esport. it's artstyle isn't serious. it's development team isn't serious. it's really not surprising to me that people will forget or flake on their matches, much less scrims. this problem boils down to individual commitment, and infinite unknown variables. making a new website won't do shit. neither will making a thread bitching about it. this problem won't go away until something changes to make tf2 a higher priority to everyone playing it competitively.

mastercomsIt is a few hidden ConVars that are being set for dxlevel 90 and 95, using the dxsupport_override.cfg file. These changes aren't relevant for dx8. What exactly do you prefer with dx8?
I really like dx8 because of the shorter rocket trails. i cant see shit after firing a rocket in dx9. i wish so badly that dx8 gave better performance. also, i kind of feel like dxlevel 100 is giving me shitty performance compared to 91?
