LukasCZOkey instead of posting shits like #unbandegu or something like that i wanna say what i really think about it. Also i apologize my english is not really perfect.
No one cared about these racist things in our officials so why would you care now? Only because its uberchain? That doesnt make any sense at all.
Internet isnt the right place to post these private things from your life. I heard uberchain is nice girl and i agree sexual harassment is bad but you cant expect every single person on internet to agree with your situation. Some people make fun of it,some people care about it and some people disslike it. Its just how it is. Also i agree that pred said something wrong( he should have apologize for it) and didnt apologize but i disagree with banning degu. He just posted picture that basically means "if you dont like what other people say about you on internet you shouldnt post it on internet" Its twitter - anonymous people can write whatever they want and you cant do anything about it. Im not defending pred or degu but i think its just a big mistake by admins banning them because now it looks like you did it only cuz its big Uberchain. This is not going to help the community at all. Everyone is calling each other ni**a,bitch, slut, cock, faggot, idiot, retard etc. on pugchamp and no one cares because its normal in this community. There is even rule for it - Be respectful to your fellow players and users.
If you want to ban people, ban everyone who said something wrong, not only because it happened to someone who is something else in this community. Peace and love <3
You are right no one did care before all of this. Given how certain groups of people at the top interact between each other everyone of them (myself included) have said things that should have been punished. Etf2l have never really taken a strong stance on it apart from warnings for flaming etc.
Now however, degu and pred have done something that has caused a massive shitstorm. Something that has not really been done when it comes to flaming etc in tf2 apart from the usual b4nny chatting out of his arse on twitter.
The admins have now seen what happens when this sort of stuff goes unchecked, just like every other video game thats played at an pro level, and are now taking action against it.
It just takes time for admins to discover these problems and take an actual stance on it. CS:GO now takes a big stance on fining pro players for being disrespectful but if you have knew anything about the CS:S scene you would know that all this flaming and that was on such a larger and more widespread scale and nothing was really done about it.
Pretty simple really.
