Thanks to everyone who put it together. Also everybody I spoke to after varying levels of alcohol consumption- pretty much everyone was spot on.
Special thanks to my team ( Looks Like Fresh Meat is Back on the Menu/the shaggers Club ) and to Phea ( also for providing the house hairdryer). We pretty much just laughed all weekend despite getting rolled.

Afaik final information was only confirmed a couple of days ago (format, detailed schedule, etc), and that's because Multiplay only confirmed it very recently as well. Also afaik tftv has always waited for official confirmation to put articles together, and doesn't write them every time a team confirms attendance to a lan. I might be wrong, you can check back and look but I haven't seen any when I just did. It's mostly roster moves, event announcements, etc. There weren't any for i58 until the viewer's guide which tftv obviously covered.
The i58 viewer's guide included schedule and all that stuff, so presumably that's what's being produced now wouldn't you say? Given that articles announcing attendance aren't normally considered worth writing. If nothing appears at all then that's obviously a failure in coverage, but if you're disagreeing with the editorial approach that doesn't equal fucking lazy to me.

TF, for the most part, has been left in the dust by other Esports and game titles. The TF community needs to explore new depthsiIf ESL were to take TF2 under its wing; it would open up a world of unexplored esports. TF2 is such a unique game with an even more diverse and welcoming community (excluding b4nny for reasons shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ln51NrJG3sc) ESL would bring back so many things TF2 has lost. With the death of IM and the inevitable death of Faceit, we can only speculate as to how long TF2 can really survive. We desperately need more orgs and ESL might be our saving and last light.
Yes it's a great game and should be an esport
That shot at b4nny was unnecessary and unfair really . He's actually been very welcoming to many new players including myself and people I know, answering our endless boring inane questions.
