#8 Another Open Playoff Demo Review in TF2 General Discussion

I'm pretty sure it was because it was the only game posted by the time he reviewed the demo.

#19 UGC-HL Iron Power Rankings Week 5 in TF2 General Discussion
ShoeSpamfestShoeSpamfestYou guys are actively hurting the TF2 community. You are a disgrace. It's quite disgraceful how you can't formulate a logical basis for that statement. Further more, a team like yours could benefit from the same ego boosting that you claim us to be thriving on.I fail to see how trolling new players, and adding to the stereotype of competitive players being jerks, could be considered anything but hurting the community.

Also I see no need or reason to get into a pissing contest with you about the relative skill of our teams.
Instead of writing you an essay, I'll give you the essay I wrote Moose. http://pastebin.com/0VzsZKjL
Oh, and if there's no need to resorting into a "pissing contest", then don't direct ad hominems and non-sequiturs towards a topic of which your knowledge is lackluster. There's also even more compelling arguments that I thought up after that conversation with Moose. So instead of upholding your (and if you can logically prove it, my) ignorance on this forum topic, why don't you add me and we'll discuss this in private? You're speaking PURELY from speculation and that alone should disqualify you from having the ability to speak of the subject from an analytical basis.

Anything that we can discuss in private we can discuss here. My complaint is this, you claim you are no long scrimming iron/steel teams, but the teams that you list yourself as scrimming in the OP have several steel teams I recognize.

#9 UGC-HL Iron Power Rankings Week 5 in TF2 General Discussion

As they are not an actual team, this is outside the UGC admin's jurisdiction. While they have sportsmanship rules for actual matchs, they can't do anything about what a pug team does while scrimming.

Infinite's response: http://www.ugcleague.com/forum/showpost.php?p=48536&postcount=81

"One last thing I wanted to mention is this issue is a product of the TF2 community, not UGC. While I agree the actions by said individuals is deplorable to say the least, this is a community problem that must be solved by the community. Far too often our admin team not only gets blamed for everything, but is also expected to solve everyone's problems. It's time for our community to step up and take some of the responsibility itself.

There is no way we can interfere with scrims, lobbys, pugs. One quick look at our current admin dispute section shows dispute after dispute, all about sportsmanship. It's time for people to take a good hard look at the TF2 community and identify what the problems are and address them as a community. Blaming the admins and expecting them to fix everything isn't going to get anyone anywhere. "

EDIT: this was a response to a now edited post asking if we could just report the guys to UGC

#4 UGC-HL Iron Power Rankings Week 5 in TF2 General Discussion

For people who don't know Highlander drama, these are the "teams" full of aliasing silver/gold players who decided that aliasing and claiming that they are new players to scrim steel and iron teams to boost their ego would be a good idea.

#50 tf2 bhopping in TF2 General Discussion

This would further increase the difference between comp and pubs, which is already a pretty big problem for TF2. For that reason alone I think a bhopping mod should never be added to comp TF2.

#23 Question for ESEA in TF2 General Discussion

Speaking as a random UGC player, why would I switch over? This isn't like ESEA 6s where I'd paying for much better competition and a higher skill level. I'd be paying for a slight chance of a prize pool which I'm probably not getting. Why not just play the exact same teams in UGC?

#10 Fully charged #21 -- ask infinite/Fornaught stuff: in TF2 General Discussion

Discuss how UGC was started.

How do they feel about the generally negative reception to anything they do/say?

#34 The response... in TF2 General Discussion

In my opionion, the difference between you doing offclassing and silly weapons and AG doing it was that AG had a really exciting and actually pretty close game, while you guys just got 5-0'd very quickly. (not to mention the rumors of it being done for seeding differences)

#31 I wrote an editorial about the Fully Torqued drama in TF2 General Discussion

This was literally 95% talking trash about FT. I mean the match was dumb as heck, and I really disagree with a bunch of things FT has done, but I feel like a incredibly opinionated (regardless of whether those opinions are correct) article like that should not be posted on eseanews.

#47 I'm mad at misconceptions (about TF2) in TF2 General Discussion
clckwrkThe game is much slower in that there are classes like Heavy that move like a slug, with absolutely no way to increase movement speed, other than a 10% speed increase from bhopping perfectly

bhopping works in TF2?
