A quick survey on cyber bullying

OK that cutting picture is literally fucked up. Like, seriously, not cool.
Anyway, in my opinion, I feel as cyber-bulling should be treated as serious as regular bullying. In a generation where almost every teenager uses the internet or some form of social media, it's very likely that they will be prone to some form of online harassment. Ignoring a problem (in this case, cyber-bullying) isn't gonna help. It's more likely it will make it worse. It is a problem everywhere, as anonymity is what most bullies do with cyber-bullying, as they can stay almost invisible and harass them and pretty much get away with it.
Also, verbal harassment can be more powerful that physical harassment, as it hurts the victim mentally, which is far, far worse that a bruise or a bloody nose. "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me", fuck that, a voice is just as powerful as a punch.
I feel as though it is important to educate our generation about regular bullying and cyber-bullying, especially for the next generation. Because the internet is just gonna get more bigger, and that means more cyber-bullies.

Herr_PIf you have any kind of personal information then try to contact family / friends / the police directly about it.
This is one of the things where you'd rather be wrong than right, if it turns out that he's faking it then he'll still get help.
edit: Also, I don't really know how america works but I guess there's some kind of national suicide helpline? Turning to them for advice would probably be a good course of action too.
