Okay so for Valentines day I decided to buy my gf a copy of Michael Gira's new limited edition book "The Egg" (we're both very big Swans fans and she mentioned it's something she'd be interested in). Thing is when ordering her copy I decided to order one for myself as well. Thing is she made it a little too obvious when hinting at what she got me so I told her that I got her a copy of the book and she said she got me the same thing.

We're both still waiting for the books to arrive in the post but I'm very pissed because 1) I ruined the surprise for both of us and 2) All I needed to do was let her know that I got a copy of the book for myself without telling her I got her a copy so that she wouldn't end up getting me another copy. Now there's no fucking surprise for any of us and I don't even get to fucking appreciate her gift as much as I would have and it's fucking driving me crazy I feel like everything is fucking ruined.

If you've gone 2.5 days without smoking you've made it very far. Just keep it up for the next 2 weeks and you'll reach a point where you won't even want to smoke anymore.

Edit: Just want to add that you will definitely notice your physical health improve by the 2 week mark, aside from the fact that you may notice your teeth feeling a bit cleaner, you won't have a smell of smoke on you anymore, your senses of taste and smell will improve as well. I used these improvements as motivation to stay away from cigs when I was quitting.

Can't really say since I haven't used that much of a variety of earphones/headphones to know what I like and what I don't like so do recommend me different earphones with different sound signatures :)

Am kinda disappointed cos I wasn't even aware there was a remaster of Hex - Bark Psychosis and ended up ordering it by accident, but whatever I guess : )

Willing to spend ~$100, not more than $200 for sure. Looking for something geared towards audiophiles, however if I can avoid needing a dac/amp to drive it from my phone, even better :)
