the survey was also posted on r/truetf2, and people who visit that sub are either comp players, tryhard pubbers or aspiring comp players who are not confident enough to get into ugc.

it makes sense that the comp meta shows in the survey because about half the responses come from truetf2. the survey didn't get much attention in r/tf2. ranking the basher and escape plan high versus phlog and reserve shooter low shows the survey was influenced by comp meta, because in pubs the whip/market gardener is usually run more often than the pickaxe, for instance. also 6s players hate crutches like reserve that give a clear advantage in a 6s/mge setting lol
it's not exactly tomfoolery or weird if you think about it that way.

for the record i do not feel bad about ratchet leaving, he was a good friend and i enjoyed his company until he:

- decided playing ugc match on a joke team was more important than a match in a paid league

- forces to reschedule the second match of a season so he can make room on thursday to go see meyy and "suck his dick" (quoting him), and then not show up to rescheduled pregame/match (forcing us to switch some classes and bring in a sub, therefore ending in a brutal 5-0)

-purposely does not listen to calls and feeds to "go against the authority" or whatever his brain thought of in those moments

-uses 30$ i lent him for premium in s27 to buy ESEA Insider (and then never refunded me)

-does not cooperate in a team effort in any way, in any game or any setting

-calls you names for no reason whatsoever if you give him criticism, in and out of game

-lies about his skill level and blames it on the team if in-game performance does not prove his point

-gets high before scrims and does not rest when he knows and is told that it affects his performance

-never warms up (even when asked to)

-does not take criticism from better players (remembering a specific example when slicerogue gave him some criticism and he chose to disregard it because "slicerogue bad lol")

-and finally leaves roster 5 minutes AFTER scheduled match time, telling us to go fuck ourselves in mumble (before going back to ugc match on joke team)

i need a team mentor pretty bad. i feel like we have the potential to make it to playoffs but we have some big team issues that need fixing and we are having a lot of trouble ironing them out.
