Skagskins lowering fps has been an issue since the gun mettle update, so I don't think it suddenly started for people unless they all decided to switch to dx9 after the recent update. skins really do mess with fps though so if it's really that big of an issue and you play on dx9 then you should probably consider dx8.

has anybody else gotten any fps drops right after this new update? I ask this because I now drop to like 70-80 and stay there when before the update i could maintain a constant 120. literally nothing about my game config or hardware is changed in the slightest. this all started happening right after the latest update. the fps drops are ridiculous for me.
im just asking to see if anybody else has had this same issue right after the latest update.
