#78 Greatest Movies Of All Time(Opinion) in Off Topic
atmoI'm not a big film watcher, but the best I've seen is probably Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

I liked the movie, but it seriously overestimated my ability to distinguish old white men.

#69 Greatest Movies Of All Time(Opinion) in Off Topic

Aside from the obvious choices to be made in Tarantino movies (if you guys like his work, you should check out True Romance, which he wrote the script for), Once Upon A Time In The West is incredible. Also, I was really blown away by Lars von Trier's Melancholia a few years ago. And if you like more old-timey movies, Gone With The Wind seems to be underrated by most people I know, even though it's usually considered a classic. The scene at the end of part one is one of the most inspiring I know.

#37 tf2 dream caster duo in TF2 General Discussion

The casts I've seen Killing do on his stream were good. No idea with whom he'd best be paired up though.

#108 Steam Trading Cards in TF2 General Discussion

I got an invite left over, so if you'd need a consultant to make the investment of .15 $ on the Market, just add me.

Also, will anyone take those Tf2 cards off me? How am I supposed to complete a full set without paying? Right now, I got Pyro, 2 Snipers, Heavy and Spy, so first come, first serve, I guess.

Considering they just sent out another 50000 invites, you guys should already have gotten one/get one tomorrow, as long as you're in the steam group. So no need for cash, then.

#12 Rougelike in Off Topic

It's hard to call Dwarf Fortress a roguelike; fortress mode plays more like some sort of devilishly complicated simulation game, and adventurer mode isn't that fleshed out yet, so most of what you can do is beating enemies into a pulp with their own socks.

This is one of my favourite games ever though. It's one of the only roguelikes that achieves a good balance between preset and randomly generated content, so it never feels either scripted or uninteresting.

#29 Bitcoin in TF2 General Discussion

Don't forget that the inventor of Bitcoin basically generated a big pile of money before making it available to the public. Since people who get in earlier generally have an easier time accumulating money than the libertarians who adopt Bitcoin later because they're afraid the state will take their hard-earned money away, the whole system is basically a standard pyramid scheme. Oh, and the main marketplace for bitcoins was originally an exchange place for Magic The Gathering cards. Make of that what you will.
